I've always hosted all my sites in the US. I now need UK hosting for a small project, and wanted to hear recommendations for budget shared hosting in the UK. Love to hear other's experiences. Any recommendations?

I have just registered and will try to contribute to the forum. The WHoisHostingThis is a very convenient tool for consumers and a good discussion board will work fine for them

I am planning to launch a small website on cheap hosting as part of an online marketing campaign to support a main site, and someone has suggested it would be a good idea from an SEO perspective to get a dedicated IP address. I am not sure what the benefits of that would be though. If anyone could advise on the pros and cons of a dedicated IP with my hosting package that would be very helpful.

Hello!

I would like to know anything about the company called cirtexhosting.com, as their deals appear to be the most suitable for my needs of hosting a vB site.

I have tight buget, and have to think twice before buying service, so if youhave experience or just anything to say about this provider, you're welcome

Thank you.

Did anyone hear about Fasthost's getting hacked again last week. This time it was so bad they had to ditch the DNS and stop all access to the mail servers.

I am planning to build a site targeting UK traffic and am considering whether to go for a UK host or a cheaper US host. Of course I can use a .co.uk domain to tell Google I want UK traffic but does anyone think that it would still be a significant disadvantage to host the site in a US data centre?
Presmumably if the site is co.uk then the actual location of the IP should become irrelevant, or is that optimistic and would I be safer going for someone like Fasthosts?
