  1. Hi Guys,
I have just (after five years) finished writing a book, coming out in October, with MacMillan press and am looking to get some online marketing. I have no money (I just spent five years writing a book) a website and blog etc see www.moodmapping.com and I would like to add a discussion forum, like this one to the website - what is easy and looks good and requires virtually no technical expertise?

  2. BBPress - from AutoMattic, publishers of WordPress - is excellent and very easy to use.

Some of the bbCode can differ from one installation to another.

I have used Joomla! http://joomla.org and Drupal http://drual.org in the past and am currently experimenting with an all rounder called TikiWiki http://TikiWiki.org

Wordpress itself offers some great features http://wordpress.org and in most instances is as easy to use and maintain as a word processing document - so with your book experience that might be an idea.

One site that uses the blog format is dealingwithpain.org which might be a good point of contact.

  4. Highly recommend WordPress for your blog too, BTW.
