I recently got t turnkey website on cd-rom. I am supposed to be able to upload the infor onto my website with no problem. Seems it is a little harder than i thought using a Ftp tool. or maybe it's my hosting carrier that had got it hard.. Check out my page and let me know how to get my website from a disk to my site using the hosting im am signed up for.. I appreciate any help i receive thanks

How to Upload a Website with FTP

Do you know what the page extentions are, i.e .php/.asp/.html?
You also need to insure that there is a index file.

I do have these but my understanding is that the html file should be in html code so that i can change the things i need to change ion the page. BUT my html files shows the page but im not able to edit

What software are you using to try and edit them with?
Your better off going to a web industry based company as oppose to a general computer tech, as 9/10 times they don't really know anything about the web, just how to reload a computer or kill a virus.
Make sure they are not in read only mode too!

Just an update on this. The guy sent me the files, I emailed him back with a few Q's about his hosting, and never heard anything since
....strange.....
