I signed up for their VPS hosting plan and trouble started from day 1. They didn't set up the VPS properly and the VPS was unresponsive. It turned out some techie made an error. After waiting for 2 days, finally VPS was working. But, then find out most sites were giving errors since nameservers had not been setup properly on VPS.
After 4 days of emailing and calling, finally the above problems were solved and I was hoping for no more trouble.
But again, problem occurred and sites stopped working. I contacted Hostcats customer support and they couldn't solve the problem for nearly 3 days!!!!
So, I gave up and asked for refund which I was entitled to since they have a 100 day money back guarantee. But, they refused claiming that refund does not apply to VPS plans. At the time of signing up, they told me explicitly that refund policy is applicable to VPS plans.
Hostcats robbed me and basically lied to me at time of signing up.
Total waste of time and money.

Got a shared hosting plan for a very simple, mostly-static, drupal based website. The site code did not change for months, and neither did the database size grow. I had a cron job running to take a backup. This cron job would fail on random occasions. Also, on random occasions, Hostcats would send a cpu over usage email... I explained to them that the site hasn't been modified in months. One day, they just suspended the account. I wrote to them asking for a prorated refund, but they are very unresponsive. Decided to leave hostcats.
