I just switched over my hosting provider from godaddy, because their system was convoluted, and their support was not helpful at all. Siteground made it EXTREMELY easy to transfer my site from my other host.
I had 2 technical issues, one where my site would not be pushed live from the staging tool and another where my CPanel did not load correctly. BOTH times, your support has been invaluable! I had never had this type of support elsewhere.
The issues were resolved quickly and by experts that DO know what they are doing!

SiteGround has been very helpful when my sites have been the targets of attacks. I am notified of very high usage and when I use the chat to let SiteGround know it is probably an attack they figure it out in minutes, block the attackers, restore my usage capacity and make it right all so quickly, while being professional and friendly. Excellent!
Although it took a second chat contact with tech support (because I never received the login details email the first time), SiteGround's support was excellent and they solved all of my issues quickly and accurately. Also, my setting up hosting of my web site on the SiteGround site was extremely easy as well. I highly recommend them for web hosting needs.
Alex helped me get Outlook back up again after I had to wipe my laptop and re-image it.
The Outlook wizard was a bit clumsy and the mistakes I made did not create helpful error messages.
Alex rapidly checked that I had the right IMAP settings and patiently waited while I went thru the stages, this time with success.

As usual, the support was quick and very helpful to steer me to the right point. I have used the chat support and the ticket support. In both cases I always got very competent help. There was one case, where a support person had some difficulties in finding the right solution, so he transferred me quickly to his superior, who could solve my problem in no-time.

I am amazed at the level of customer service and speed at which I was able to sign-up and have my website transferred from my old host provider to SiteGround. I have a WordPress website and wanted to have the WordPress hosting. My previous host, HostGator, tried to transfer my site internally and after one week, failed to do a thorough job. You guys took care of it in a matter of less than a few hours and my entire site transferred with no problems! Then I needed to contact support regarding adding an SSL, and you guys were on it! Now, this is what I call service. You guys are definitely raising the standards for hosting providers. Oh, by the way, your WordPress server is a heck of a lot faster than my old host too!
In my first few days at launching the website with very little technical knowledge the process has been so unbelievably smooth. The site is a simple blog/portfolio/services site, and everything from Wordpress installation, to tech support, Site Ground has backed 100%. I get to the chat often because I don't have the budget to hire a dev, and sometimes I think my questions will be beyond my hosting plan, but instead, the techs have been fully supportive and provide immediate solutions and tips. So far, I'm really impressed with the quality of the service, and I hope to go long-term with Site Ground.

I have been so impressed by the ease with which I have been able to set up and run my website and associated domain emails using SiteGround. I am not a developer and have had the odd problem due to my limited technical expertise but the online technical support has been really excellent.

Awesome service, Brilliant support response and a very cooperative team of professionals are equal to site ground. I decided to give a try to Siteground after having very bad support experiences with another blue hosting provider. I´m are very happy with the support, features and time response i have received so far. I think Siteground has a little more expensive hosting service but it´s worthy.
I spent hours trying to figure out how to redirect my domain to Shopify. None of the articles and forums seemed to help or had information specific to SiteGround. I have been a customer of SiteGround for several years and would not even think about going elsewhere for web hosting particularly for commercial sites.

I've never had a negative experience with SiteGround. I've tried other places but my sites are so SLOW. This is the only place I can actually manage my WP site quickly without having to setup a local copy to do all changes the push them up. There is no need, because it's so fast!

The support has always been very good - i find the chat support to be quickly available, and usually very helpful and efficient. Today i needed some quick help and I got assistance that was above and beyond. I learned some new things, the support rep Radostin waited and walked me through it all. This makes Siteground the better choice from all the others i've worked with.
I was having a headache not being able to do the email SMTP settings for a software app I am using and I needed to configure the email settings from my cPanel account with SitegRound.
Rumen made it so easy is not even funny. I just sent him two screen shots of the problems I was having, he even allowed me to let him access into my software so he could do the settings for me inside a private software outside SiteGround. I had a billing issue, I noticed a renewal on a domain that I was plannning to change his plan.
The support answered me immediately, in a minute understood the problem and in a second gave me the solution.
Before ending the conversation the problem was fixed and I could continue with my work.
The Support has been outstanding. I'm on Day 4 since migrating my Wordpress website from GoDaddy. The online chat, phone and ticket support have helped me through numerous issues. I chatted with a couple of folks yesterday while tryng to setup a secure ftp connecton from my desktop. I wanted to use WINSCP (just because I already had it on my desktop).
Your folks were very helpful pointing me to documentation but in the end, they help files did not answer the questions I had.
- You have configuration for WINSCP but it was incomplete. It did not clearly establish which account to use and how to tie this to the ssh key pair I generated.
- Your CPanel ftp accounts does not address secure ftp accounts at all (Why would you not push people to secure connections???).
In the end, I finally "dinked" around enough to find something that works. You need to update your documentation because taking bits from 3 or 4 help pages (often out of date) is not very helpful
Do not use SiteGround if you value your money. They will always try to get into your pocket in any ways. I had a site and they kept forcing me to upgrade - I was having their top Cloud package and they couldn't even handle 100 concurrent users. Pathetic.
Then I try to get a backup of my sites in order to move to a new host, then they tell me to pay 80 EUR. Yeah right.
Don't use Siteground.

I had been confused with the domain registration process, because I am currently transferring one domain name, and in the future three more that will point to this domain. I like the SiteGround servers a lot. I have used a variety of hosting providers from BlueHost, and GodDaddy. Mt websites are the fastest on SiteGround servers than the competitors I have used. The only complaint I have is there is no WHM Cpanel transfer tool accessible on the cloud hosting plan unlike Bluehost's WHM. It would save a me a ton of time with that option available. Either way, I am transferring all my sites to SiteGround for the superior speed, stability, and excellent support!

I've had to contact SiteGround several times as I transfer from another host after being with them for ten years. The support from SiteGround has been fantastic! They fix the problem (usually my error) and are very kind in the process. SiteGround was the clear selection after researching available hosts. What was important to me? Wordpress, support, up time, tutorials, speed, and of course, price. There were many players but SiteGround seemed to cover all the bases. No regrets. Anastas was great he helped me by sending a short easy to follow instructions allowing me to access SSH. He was very familiar with the system, and knew exactly how to help me. I'm glad siteground has technical engineers as Anastas. I'm now able to get SSH to my site and create my own files.

SG Rocks thanks to the magnificent support (, although...). I had a support session of almost 45 min with Stefani today, and although the problem couldn't be solved (problem with Joomla 3.7.0), she assisted me with a lot of patience until I got a backup-solution up-and-running. The disappointing fact is that SG wasn't already aware of this bug iin Joomla, and that I had to do the full research myself. Also when I proposed to 'downgrade' to 3.6.5 first - again - 3.7.0 was installed. But ... in the end it worked & I got the support I needed.
We have complete hassle free experience on the migration to https:// , which has make our website now more credible and secured. Very good thing about this whole migration is the security features which you are giving as offering and it has helped us to give up on security worries with good website rating/search engine improvements.

Siteground is amazing! Having dealt with Godaddy for years, I can only say that the support is night and day. They are quick and efficient and they go the extra mile. I ask about how to install a new Wordpress installation and I receive an offer to set it up! The entire chat is 18 minutes long, and that is only because I got distracted. It was probably about 12 minutes. That would have taken me an hour on Godaddy! My site is always up, they run scans every day to be sure, prices are great, and support is excellent!! Siteground is by far the best Hosting Solution I have ever seen! I initially moved over to Siteground after my website got hacked on another solution. Not only did they help me resolve all the hack issues, which were a lot, they charged me 0$ to do so. Ever since I have had 0 hack attempts, and 0 server downtime. The only time I ever contact support now is if I have an issue after an update or installation of a plugin. This time when I called, Marin was probably the quickest service guy yet to resolve my issues. Not only did he resolve them. He explained the issue, and made it fun! Much appreciation to siteground! I came across SiteGround via a Facebook group of web developers. It was highly recommended. My background is in print design, so I've had to teach myself web dev from the ground up. Top notch support and best bang for your buck lol. I migrated 2 of my original website from Hostgator (which despite also being a good hosting company), Hostgator couldn't provide me with the amount of bundled features, flexibility and pricing I needed to run my online businesses. I've been a customer with Bluehost, Godaddy, HostGator and SiteBuildIt (SBI). Not one of them checked for a secure transaction as thoroughly as SiteGround did to ensure I was not a crook trying to steal someone else's identity, and this impressed me as a brand new customer, because it reassured me that my own site would be well protected. SiteGround texted me, asked for voice verification by calling me and emailed me verification requirements before closing the deal. For some new customers that might seem like overkill. But if you want to be secure now-a-days, you can't go too far in verifying that the customer is who the customer says he is.

I went to edit one of our sites hosted with Siteground and noticed it was running slow. I opened a chat window and within a minutes was chatting with a tech. Asked point blank questions, and got right on it. Site speed increased, and he tld me that after a couple hours it will get even better. Great support! The chat support guys always resolve my issue pretty much instantly, and they're more than happy to do some of the work for you, unlike some other companies who'll simply send you a link to some documents! Site speed is good too and havent had any down time at all yet.
Alexander was incredible helpful and patient with me, as I am pretty incompetent when it comes to the details of hosting and domains etc. Even though I asked tons of specific questions he quickly responded and got me the exact answer I was looking for. He also helped me figure out how to take all my domains from other services and nicely consolidate them into site ground's very easy to use platform.

I have been with Siteground for more than a year now but I have never considered writing a review until now. I Had to wait to actually see if it's worth it. I encountered an error on my website today, and it was quickly resolved as if nothing has happened. This was while I was on chat, not escalated or needed to submit a ticket. I used to be with Hostgator, but I later realised that they are cheaper for a reason. I had recommended siteground to a couple of people already. Welldone guys.

It helps that Joomla! and cPanel straightforward. (I've had recently problems installing a version of Office 365. It took Microsoft 40 minutes to resolve the issue).
