I came across SiteGround via a Facebook group of web developers. It was highly recommended. My background is in print design, so I've had to teach myself web dev from the ground up. My first host was GoDaddy and I was so unhappy with every aspect of the experience. Support was terrible, prices were outrageous. I couldn't use caching plugins, everything was limited and I had no clue that a company I thought was so great could be really bad at webhosting. I really needed good support because I am pretty tech savvy and can do things on my own, but wanted someone to chat with to hold my hand through the new stuff I've been working on. I am on my second year with SiteGround. Top notch support and best bang for your buck lol. I migrated 2 of my original website from Hostgator (which despite also being a good hosting company), Hostgator couldn't provide me with the amount of bundled features, flexibility and pricing I needed to run my online businesses. My Seriously guys, I am hosting 5 sites and 6 domain with Siteground and so far things have been going so well that I ow can't thing of any other guys to trust with my websites. I've been a customer with Bluehost, Godaddy, HostGator and SiteBuildIt (SBI). Not one of them checked for a secure transaction as thoroughly as SiteGround did to ensure I was not a crook trying to steal someone else's identity, and this impressed me as a brand new customer, because it reassured me that my own site would be well protected. SiteGround texted me, asked for voice verification by calling me and emailed me verification requirements before closing the deal. For some new customers that might seem like overkill. But if you want to be secure now-a-days, you can't go too far in verifying that the customer is who the customer says he is.
I was a Blue Host customer for years - but recently their service started to decline, down time, email server never worked, support was awful (an upgrade was the only solution to any problem) so I switched to SiteGround on a friend's recommendation.

I went to edit one of our sites hosted with Siteground and noticed it was running slow. I opened a chat window and within a minutes was chatting with a tech. Asked point blank questions, and got right on it. Site speed increased, and he tld me that after a couple hours it will get even better. I moved to SiteGround due to a recommendation, after poor support on previous hosting platform. A small improvement would have made me very happy.
The User Area provides well configured and highly usable tools to manage the site, installed software and all the administrative paraphernalia. Great support! The chat support guys always resolve my issue pretty much instantly, and they're more than happy to do some of the work for you, unlike some other companies who'll simply send you a link to some documents! Site speed is good too and havent had any down time at all yet.
Alexander was incredible helpful and patient with me, as I am pretty incompetent when it comes to the details of hosting and domains etc. Even though I asked tons of specific questions he quickly responded and got me the exact answer I was looking for. He also helped me figure out how to take all my domains from other services and nicely consolidate them into site ground's very easy to use platform.

I have been with Siteground for more than a year now but I have never considered writing a review until now. I Had to wait to actually see if it's worth it. I encountered an error on my website today, and it was quickly resolved as if nothing has happened. This was while I was on chat, not escalated or needed to submit a ticket. I used to be with Hostgator, but I later realised that they are cheaper for a reason. I had recommended siteground to a couple of people already. Welldone guys.

It helps that Joomla! and cPanel straightforward. (I've had recently problems installing a version of Office 365. It took Microsoft 40 minutes to resolve the issue).
Outstanding help and support, couldn't recommend enough! A class above all other hosting providers! The live support chat is great, always answering question in a friendly and informative manner and above all resolve any issues or concerns I may have had. The hosting is top notch, with so many robust and useful features from the cPanel, even transferring WordPress hosts was a complete breeze - filling out a single form and they handled the rest for me and my site was transferred and up in no time at all.

Tech support is amazing. We loved working with the guys regarding all the issues we've encountered. Even by going with the cheapest package you end up having a top-level approach.
It is important to point out technical solutions - they are great. Caching, integration with Cloudflare and Let's Encrypt, various deployment and performance optimization solutions. We've been able to grow from a small website to an online magazine and Siteground solutions empowered us in achieving this.

In last 10-12 years that I've been hosting with various different hosting companies (including the bigger names e.g. Godaddy, Bluehost, 1and1 etc.) there's nothing (and I mean it!), nothing quite like Siteground. Not only they have some of fastest hosting out there (lowest server response time I've ever seen), but their customer service is Outstanding! Well the cpu usage is horribly low, which is very annoying. Along with that, the features that come with siteground are pretty amazing and I feel very comfortable using this. Just make sure google bots don't spam your website cause then siteground will take it down due to cpu usage. Other than that I would reccomend it
Just starting out with SiteGround, and wanted to chat with the online sales/support team before we signed up. We were not disappointed! Both Martin & Penka (whom I spoke with) were very helpful, connecting to them on our 1992 internet connection was a breeze, and we couldn't be happier! Signed up right after these great conversations and excited to build out our business online!
Siteground customer service is extremely responsive and quick. Most of my questions (I've asked probably 8 since signing up) have been answered within 5-10 minutes, and they provide direct links to articles and resources to help you. To me, paying a little more for the GrowBig account has already paid itself off in the little amount of time it takes to get answers from the support team. This is the best hosting company I've ever dealt with, and I'm a Web Designer. I'll stick with them for a while. :)

I can't really compare if Siteground is an excellent technical hoster, but I can surely applaud their fantastic support service. I had a couple issues in the previous year and most of them where my own undoing. So, be it chat, mail or phone, I have never waited longer than 15 minutes for a competent member of the support crew. All my troubles have been solved immediately, even the user errors plus I have always been given an explanation on what to do if a similar issue happens again. I pay for small hosting but I receive prime support - every single time.
Nice to have friendly tech support - makes a huge difference when in desperate search for info needed right away. Also they are truly knowledgeable too. Last but certainly not least, great to have little to no wait time for chat support. What a difference from our last web server! Thank you thank you!
I am so impressed by what they do. Their support could not be better. In the first two weeks of being hosted by siteground i had so many questions. I probably spent hours writing back and forth with their support team and they always answer within minutes and are always incredibly nice and willing to help. even if its things that are probably not their concern. the technical part also could not be better! words are not enough to describe the perfection of their service.
Totally brilliant so far...just hope the good service continues for ever!! I chose siteground as I was forever having issues with other suppliers, and I found their website to be very informative and very easy to use. Now I want to continue the brilliant start and hopefully this is an ongoing relationship between our businesses.
I've used SiteGround support at least 10 times now, and every (and I mean every) experience has been excellent. Tech support has always been courteous and helpful, and been able to solve every problem I've had. Best of all, I've never had to wait on hold or in a queue for more than a minute, and that is pretty unique when it comes to online tech support. SiteGround rocks.
My chat service was all that could be expected. My first two initial attempts at contacting your company were dissappointing however. The 1st was a phone system that did not work for me. Press 2 for sales did nothing. The 2nd was filling out a sales inquiry ticket. filled it out with all my questions (took me a while) and then it failed at end because I was not signed in. But I could not sign in because it was my 1st visit. See? smiles So my time and effort were lost and waisted. My 3rd attempt got me the chat which was fine.
Another general point. I'm a novice using WordPress to layout pages. Everywhere I go in the tech field online is specific language that is used when YOU are marketing your services. But the novice, me, does not know what some of that language even means. You, like most engineers I've ever met, design from your own mindset rather than that of your customers; at least some of your customers like me. So you confuse me about understanding your services because too many things are assumed about my knowledge set vs your own. Your site marketing does not serve me as well as experts. I understand most of your clients probably are experts. But you and most others could do better by serving the novice better too. You should pay me for that advice. :-) or give me a free site. just kidding.
Only signed up a few days ago, but already have two domains set up with SSL certificates, WordPress Installed with a coming soon plugin activated. Being new to Siteground and WordPress, I have found some gaps in the instructions provided, but have contacted Siteground twice via online chat and got my issues resolved within 20 minutes each time. The chat starts almost instantly and the answers are mostly helpful, and in both cases answered all my questions. So far so good.

The addon domain aspects are particularly economical for someone who wants to host several websites.
I think you should consider another host. I am very disappointed with the site. They gave me bad advice, they refuse to change my account at no extra charge, even for a configuration at the same price.
Their support is not at all competent.

I have found that SiteGround is uptime service with respectful staff and services.
Whenever I need help, they do help as quick as possible. Their live chat feature is fantastic as whenever I face a problem or issue, I get it solved professionally. Also, SiteGround Customer Area is very user-friendly and its navigation is very easy to use.
I really never write reviews, but I've been so impressed with SiteGround. I started with BlueHost, but actually backed out within 24 hours and cancelled a domain because their Joomla installation was too difficult, and although they said they had one click installation they do not. (as of April '17) I spent an entire day -literally a day -trying to get a joomla template up and on a bluehost site. It took forever to get ahold of their customer service. So slow! On day number two I was frustrated enough to try SiteGround although switching everything over would be a pain. I signed up and had the joomla up and running within 20 minutes! Customer service was getting back to me in under a minute and they have been very patient and helpful for a beginner. SiteGround has been GREAT. The customer service with SiteGround is exceptional. Site is very easy to navigate and full of every resrouce and tool needed. So glad I switched!

Wow ... Siteground really does provide excellent customer service. From the start, setting up, transferring my existing domain and site was handled with expertise and lots of patience. Then, almost a year later, I had to switch site scanner over because I set it up on the wrong domain. It was done at no charge and in a matter of single-digit minutes. I will recommend SiteGround whenever I can.
The customer care at SiteGround is exceptional. I recently had an issue with my website. I logged into my account and requested an live chat to get my problem resolved. I was quickly connected with a specialist and proceeded to explain my issue. After getting all the relevant information she needed, she proceeded to fix my problem on her end. Within minutes my issue was resolved and website was up and running again. Switching to SIteGround for my hosting needs was one of the best business decisions I've ever made.
I used to use godaddy before siteground and my websites uptime was really bad. siteground is one of the best hosting companies i ever dealt with. the tech support is one of a kind. overall 10/10 service level. i have 3 websites with siteground and planning on moving 2 other websites next month
First, you can choose from several global locations for your server. It helps if you business is targeting specific audience.
Second, the stability of their server is great. Never had a problem.
Third, the amazing quality of their 24/7 chat support is hard to believe. You only wait for a few minutes (with the other providers you usually have to wait much more), and they are always friendly and dedicated to help you.
I've only been with SiteGround for about 3 weeks, but it has worked out great for me. The support is second to none. Anytime I want to get a hold of someone on chat, whether it's zombie hours or not, I can get help with a problem. If I need some kind of techie stuff wrangled that I cannot troubleshoot, I just head on over to chat assistant, which has happened more than a handful of times. I have never paid for support services either, awesome!
I have used the SiteGround Live Chat feature several times, and usually late in the evening. I have always had exceptional service. The people assisting with support are patient, very helpful, and pleasant. I had always heard the advice to keep websites on more than one host, but I have decided to keep all of my websites with SiteGround because I trust and value the service and support they provide.

They say you get what you pay for, and in this regard Siteground is not the cheapest host around...but they are hands-down one of the - if not THE - best hosting company I've ever come across, and I've been doing websites for clients for the better part of a decade. You get features that ought to be worth more than what they're charging such as unlimited domains, unmetered bandwidth and CloudFlare, to name only a few.
Even if you disregard everything else, the ONLY real reason why you should pick Siteground is their support. There has not been a single time I've felt disappointed or anything less than pleased with the outcome of every support request from the simplest of questions to the toughest of technical issues, and all with an impeccable response time. Doesn't matter if you're frustrated or in a hurry, trust Siteground support to get it fixed.
It's not something you think about, it's not even something you use often, but when it comes to keeping your sites online having quality support is something you will only appreciate when shit hits the fan.

I mean, there are many offers out there, and for everything you want you can get a spec more that would meet a particular demand. Siteground have every feature at the top of requirements and win it all when it's difficult where it's difficult… Support!
They don´t make the site for you (I think) but save it if you lost it (and I'm not talking of Backup).

I suggested to move the website and the domain of one of my clients to Siteground as compared to the old provider their price is much more affordable plus the customer service team it is excellent. I had 2 sites up and running with them and my experience has been great. They are supporting their client in a very professional way and with very fast response time. Stoyan G. has helped me persevere in spite of myself via live chat in helping me get past some early simple steps that are actually more like mountains to me. Although the 1st-level support gave unexpected advice on mandatory requirements for Nameservers to be hasted at SG, escalated tech support was able to clarify incorrect advice from initial tech support regarding requirements for Nameservers and DNS zone records for staging site functionality. In short, you do NOT need to host NS at SG to get full staging site functionality, just an A record for the staging subdomain is sufficient.
Although the initial problem with the staging site remained, the tech support manager submitted an advanced support ticket to evaluate and fix the problem.

I have...or had(hopefully it works in Future) a difficulty Problem with my new Domain ending----Register through difficulties of DE...and my French Lifepoint,which seems to be a Problem in the Process of the Registration and the bought Domain from a German owner..... and i got very good help with that Problem ..which will for sure not be the last time with this problem. Perhaps a little Tipp to Siteground for Future "Updates"...to make a "Workaround"..with this Domainregistration Problem...as German..i will be perhaps Register more DE. Domains in Future..if it needs...or i would choose EU or Com.....but with this first Domain..i made this...without the thoughts about the upcomming future Problems with the DE ending...but long thoughts...short word ; ) Customer Service with Siteground is absolut First Class!

OMG, can't even start with support from SiteGround's Tech team that I recived today. My website was hacked and I was closed from backend of my Joomla website. I couldn't do anything. As I have just a simple website about my favourite game and I don't have any IT knowledge, this was shocking to me. I was lost. Then I saw that my CPU usage is skyrocketing, I was in deep... trouble. I contacted Martin on LiveChat Tech support and poor guy spent 1h20m with me to solve my problem. And he did it! Thank you sooo much Martin for your patience and that you really actually cared about my problem. Great service, can recommend! Very helpful and patient... Greta G was wonderful.. My web site was down with a message "Error establishing a database connection." I did know what to do. I used the free chat, and in about a minute, Greta G came on and was so helpful and patient with me. Once we finished she told me, "we're here 24/7 contact us anytime"
I'm very happy to write a quick review about my good experience with Site ground. Today i had some issues and i received a perfect support as always! On Site Ground i find the support I always dreamed! The services are perfect and support is fleet. Site Ground is the perfect partner for our business. Working knowing you have a ready and competent support is priceless.
I've been hosting websites for 15 years and have been with at least 10 hosting companies. I do thorough research if I decide to pick a new hosting company. I change hosts when their service falls repeatedly below expectations, server performance sucks or unnecessary restrictions are placed on my account
With most companies, things usually start off pretty well but decline rapidly after the company realizes they have your sale. You then get to deal with their poor service until you can't take it anymore and decide to go searching again. For me, this is a total nightmare because I have several hosting accounts and numerous complicated websites that I need to move each time this happens. I simply have no time for it, but even less time to deal with poor service and poor performance.
The above is not the case with Siteground. Not only is the shared server performance with Siteground 100000 times better than any shared or VPS service I've every used, they also have THE BEST tech support and customer service I've ever known. For me to say this, means they are truly THE BEST, because it takes a lot to impress me. When you bring an issue about your site to them, which is almost always something completely unrelated to the hosting service, they fix your site immediately and never try to put it back on you. I can't tell you how much this has impressed me. I've used their tech support about 10 times and give them 100% top rating for everything they've done for me.
Leaving this review is a double-edged sword. One one hand I want Siteground to find customers and I want people to find them and be happy with their hosting company like never before. On the other hand, I don't want them to get too busy for me (:-). I have no doubt Siteground will be around a very long time and I'm proud to call them MY HOSTING COMPANY.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK SITEGROUND! I expect you to be my last stop in my search for the perfect web hosting service.

In addition to great uptime and hosting speeds, chat support is incredibly responsive and on point. I moved from another hosting provider where chat support would frequently take 15 to 30 minutes to answer. SiteGround chat support is absolutely incredible. I have used SiteGround's chat support a handful of times, and the LONGEST I have had to wait is a couple of minutes. I have been so pleased with their hosting service, I am also transferring my domain to SiteGround.
I have hosted elsewhere in the past and recently moved to Siteground.
In my experienced the hosting service provided for Joomla based sites is tops.
The technical assistance provided date has been just that little bit superior, which makes a big difference when you need help fast!

The features and price is great but to top it all, the support is excellent
On chat replies or support tickets replies is very quick, and I don't have to wait long in the queue for chat support.
I have about 10 websites hosted under my Siteground account and have had total downtime of just 5 minutes for past 2 years. which is great compared to my previous provider (starts with G and ends with Y) , where I had almost 10 minutes downtime in a month.

I started using them two years ago and never looked back. Their customer service is fast, reliable and smart! They don't just shrug you off with excuses like some other hosts. My WordPress websites are blazing fast and I never have memory issues like some other cheap hosts. You do have to manage how many websites you're hosting and how many directories you've got on your server, but that's a good thing. Keeps you managing resources. Some other cheap hosts claim unlimited sites and space and in reality all that happens is that the server eventually comes to a crawl. Another great thing is that they are vigilant about keeping your sites secure and if something does happen, they're ready to help right away.
So far even after using SiteGround for only 1 day, I can attest that their dashboard is so much cleaner and easier use. User experience is quite seamless. But the thing that blows me away is their amazing customer service. Prompt response with issues, even better experience than I usually have on GoDaddy. Tickets get answered in less than 30 minutes and the chat option is a life saviour if you need a prompt response. Really helpful and knowledgeable staff. I would recommend SiteGround to almost anyone that needs hosting, as their service is even better than GoDaddy to my personal experience and definitely cheaper too!

I have found SiteGround to be the most helpful and full-featured service. The technical support goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the issue first and then assist with making the updates. I do want to highlight the assistance part instead of telling you how to do it or send you to a page with incomplete instructions. It is one of the best values around and I've used other services. Best service I have ever had.
I tried to activate the free SSL using the plugin SG provides and had a small issue with Cloud Flare CDN due to settings. Sight Ground support took care of it within a minute. Wait time for the live chat was under 15 seconds. This is the same kind of service I have received over the 2 years I have been hosting with them. I know if I run into any issue they are there to find a solution 24/7.
I had a positive experience and very quick response time with customer service representative. The representative held my hand, through unrecognized password issue and an email setup issue. He was very, very, very polite and patient with me as a novice and stayed online until both of the issues were resolved.

I have had no problems with SiteGround and am quite satisfied. The support team has been very helpful on problems and when I needed information. I will definitely recommend them as a leader in hosting services. I think the value is very good and hopefully I'll be with them for a long time.
Siteground is awesome. They use cpanel at least for all their basic accounts, and they always have better and better features coming on board for that. Support is awesome to. I have thrown some pretty tricky tasks their way and the first person I talk to is always knowledgeable enough to help me out. No bouncing around or delays. I get what I need when I need it, and they even take the time to explain to me why things are the way they are so I am able to handle these tasks myself instead of always having to go to support for everything.

I just recently started a forum with Siteground as my hosting provider. While uninstalling a mod on the forum, the website disappeared - Poof - Gone! I figured, ok, no biggie, I made my backups, but being a relative noob, I wasn't able to restore my backups. I spent hours looking up this tutorial and that on Youtube and elsewhere totally freaking out because nothing was working. Finally I see that Siteground offers to restore a backup for just $40.... they had the forum back up in like 2 minutes. Yes, literally 2 MINUTES!
