Great service, with great people, always are on top of things and the services are out of this world. I couldn't have asked for a better hosting services for the features vs the prices they offer. They offer auto scaling servers which allow my to safely know my website will be online for a good without website crashes.
I had all of my websites hosted through Bluehost for years.. Over the past year I noticed that the service Bluehost provided had started to decline and I started considering other Hosting companies. About 4 months before the end of my hosting term with BlueHost I agreed to upgrade my account for the remainder of the term as a last ditch effort to keep my business. Immediately after agreeing to upgrade all 30 or so of my websites crashed and were down for over 3 days..
I contact Thorbis and they immediately migrated all of my websites over to there cloud hosting platform and and had my sites up and running within 24 hours..
They really saved my business! After migration I noticed that all of my websites were running faster too.
They provide me with great support and the reliability I need to run my web design/SEO company!
The pricing is great and I love supporting a company that cares about their customers like Thorbis does!
Thanks! 5 Stars!

Thorbis is a US web hosting company that utilizes a hybrid cloud system to provide shared hosting solutions that automatically scale to fit customers’ resource needs. They were founded in 2015 in Felton, California.
Thorbis only offers a single cloud-based hosting plan; however, it is highly customizable and grows with your site. When you sign up for new service, you first select the amount of storage you need for both your website and your email hosting. Both are charged by the gigabyte. For small sites, you can start at a single GB each.
The advantage to the Thorbis model is that you are not locked into this amount. Instead, if you exceed the limit you initially set, your plan will automatically be increased by an additional GB. This way, if you underestimate, or experience a large spike, your website and email will be unaffected. If the increased usage is only temporary, your plan will automatically be reduced again. The auto-scaling feature is enabled by default for all accounts; however, customers who want to prevent any unexpected price increases can disable this feature through their control panel. If auto-scaling is disable, Thorbis will alert users when they approach their plan’s storage limits.
Each hosting account includes unlimited email accounts, subdomains, and databases. Thorbis uses a custom control panel, which closely resembles cPanel, and includes an extensive 1-click installation library. If the library does not include a program you require, Thorbis will attempt to add it to their collection.
Thorbis maintains a hybrid cloud system, which utilizes both in-house servers and cloud servers hosted by Digital Ocean. Their monitoring systems continuously watch the performance of each hosted website and server, and if they detect that a server is handling too much, automatically add an additional server to support the resource requirements. If the additional server is no longer needed, their system will turn it off again.
All of their servers feature DDoS protection, self-healing, and restricted access.
Thorbis customer support is available via email.
Thorbis offers a 99.9% uptime guarantee.
Thorbis accepts payment via credit card. Accounts are prepaid, and unless disabled, plans will automatically be upgraded if users exceed their selected storage limits.
Thorbis has a very straightforward business model, and as such they don’t go into great detail about the more technical side of their hosting service. Some things we were unable to confirm include:
Thorbis offers an appealing business model, particularly for customers that only need a limited amount of storage space, but don’t want to risk their website or email account freezing if they ever go over that limit. This is a particularly good alternative to traditional unlimited hosting plans, since most users never come close to needing “unlimited” storage, and this allows those users to set a very low starting price and grow to any size they require.
