When we decided to switch the host for our website http://mayapurvoice.com, I did an extensive research and examined every feature of a good number of reputed hosting companies. I want to start this off by saying that I am no professional when it comes to web design. the support was pretty good when I started a few years ago, but really declined lately. there are only 2 people on their staff who work with clients who actually know what they are doing. most of the time you just argue with then as they bucket you in a category where they don't need to do anything. then I had a real problem - wp kept over-writing my .htaaccess file and breaking all my urls. the search engines would penalize me and that would be it for my business. my developed gave a couple of relatively easy fixes for the problem and they just told me to go jump in a lake. don't go use these people.

Most of the times you will be put to talk online with a very helpful person no matter how late it is in the night, or early in the morning. You can ask them any question, whether it's dumb or technical. They will try to really search the answer for you. Asking them questions and getting superb answers from them sometimes make me feel lazy. I have contacted them on several occasions. I won their free Shared Hosting Spark package a year ago. That comes with a free domain and the so-called SSDs. The main problem I face was the site uptime. Which was ridiculously bad.

When Google release a SEO note that SSL will impact site ranking in search engine, other sites like WebhostingBuzz offer their customers the installation of certificate for free. But when I asks for the help in webhostinghub, they asks for extra money. Support center is very unhelpful if you face any real headache.

Firstly the plans with Web Hosting Hub were a very reasonable cost. For two domains, it is working out at around $2.00 per week.

There are plenty of features to be found by searching within the Account Management Panel, with lots of written instructions.

The support offered by Web Hosting Hub just about covers every angle. You can email, phone, or live chat which is 24 hours a day.

I have many times contacted the support team, usually by live chat, because that is the simplest way to sort something out when you are the other side of the world and in a completely different time zone! My problems were always compounded because I am completely new and didn't understand a lot of terms and acronyms. My queries were always treated with patience by their staff, and then quickly and competently each time I had a successful outcome.

WebHostingHub is the absolute worst.

I used their services because I read that they have great customer service. However, I have found that this is entirely lip service. I have had numerous issues with my sites over the last 6 months and when I ask questions or attempt to resolve issues, I have been met with ineptness and rudeness. They claim that they don't know the issue, can't comment on the issue or deal with the issue, and then they become rude and almost hostile to the paying customer.

The final straw was when they were supposed to email me a form to sign, but did not attach it. When I pointed this out and asked that it be re-sent, I received a reply stating that I had already been provided with the material and it was not their problem. I have never experienced such a thing, but you can be sure that I will be taking my websites and going somewhere else, even if I lose money on the year of hosting I purchased.

I've had intermittent problems with the server being blacklisted, which may indicate inappropriate management of potential spammers on their servers. Blacklisting is never cleared before I start begging.

My biggest problem has been very poor support of Webmail. Support is slooooow (up to 48 hour response in some cases).

I use Squirrel Mail. Around July 2014, they installed a new version of Squirrel Mail. The new version is unstable. It crashes every single time that I open more than one mail tab. The search function does not work. Many sessions crash because the IMAP server drops the session when the Webmail server tries to access it. I have reported the problem in great detail, but they refuse to take action. They keep demanding login details for private email accounts, rather than investigating the issue between the Webmail server and the IMAP server. Because of the long delay in responses, I always get a different support person on each message, and they always refuse to escalate the call to a responsible manager. I am at wit's end. Even though moving will have serious cost implications (DNS pricing structure from the first-level domain), I'm considering moving after less than a year. I am simply not getting any meaningful support with their broken software.
