I'm hosting two sites with WebHostingHub and have for about one year; I have only one word to classify the service: flawless.
I was fully and thouroughly assisted from the first sign-up and you can count the number of times I've needed support for problems on my sites on a fisted hand: 0.00; so far, I've yet to experience even the tiniest glitch.
I was a couples of days late for my payment - I never received the renewal warning mail - but WHB never took my sites down; on the contrary, a sales person followed me to make the whole process as easy as it can be.
Nothing else to say; WebHostingHub is what a proper hosting company should be: reliable, attentive to clients' needs and safe.

I was given a mere 72 hours to move my site and it was cut off immediately. The 72 hours started at 4:59 PM Friday afternoon! Regardless of any other issues (this was a server load issue -- nothing immoral or illegal), this kind of notice is unacceptable. I realize that their Support organization is probably just implementing company policy. This is very poor customer service.

Also, FYI, the zipped file they sent me was apparently a special Linux format which I have been unable to open. They cut off my access to cPanel so I couldn't ftp my own files from the site selectively and in a format I could read.

Finally, I would think the hosting company should be able to control the runaway transactions if this is hurting their performance. As a simple website designer, I don't know about all of these issues. I was fully compliant every time an issue came up -- but these guys cut me off without almost any warning.

I am a web designer, and use HTML, CSS, PHP, etc. I saw a CNET deal on Web Hosting Hub and decided to try them out for a scouting organization I mentor. The price was a great chance to quickly create a website for the Venturing Crew with minimal coding. even the kids with no coding experience can use the tools offered. Web Hosting Hub staff were friendly (and American-accented which is helpful for those with hearing issues), prompt on getting our site up and running, and offering plenty of free tools to create a 'Web 2.0' presence.

I had issues with my other hosting company with text messages. I signed up at 4pm. Sent my first text message with PHP coding at 8pm. And it worked just fine. Here is the kicker while I setup and finished getting the text - 30 minutes later the text that I sent with my old hosting company finally showed up on my phone.

I've been using WebHostingHub to manage my non-wordpress blog and another small site since March 2012, and I must say it has been one of my best online purchases.
I've yet to experience a second of downtime.
I've had no reason so far to contact the support.
The only glitch is that cPanel File Manager is slow some times, but I mostly use the Legacy FIle Manager so it's not a big deal.
All in all, I definitely RECOMMEND this hosting company; the money will be very well-spent.

We have been using Web Hosting Hub for a year now.

They are very responsive on their instant chat. I have used live chat in peak times and also off hours and they are always available and very helpful. If they don't know the answer immediately, they research and find out quickly.

Their cpanel is clean. The instructions on their site make things very easy to find and use. It is a good hosting for newbies to the webhosting world.

Value is good for a one site host. It is unlimited for disk space/bandwidth. But not unlimited for multiple sites.

Supports Wordpress nicely. Has a wysiwyg website builder that works well and is easy to use.

The response I had received from your person in the billing department was fast and took care of the request I had placed before them. They were so fast I had to ask to repeat what was done! Had a problem with DNS servers (godaddy of course) but it was resolved. For some reason they were not updating their system. They blamed it on WebHostingHub so I contacted them but it started working soon after receiving response from godaddy, so I'm sure it was their issue.

I did a lot of research. Web Hosting Hub had the best features and benefits. Some companies offer a free domain or even free for life, but if you add another domain they charge more or only give you a few.

Yes i could have gone with a free or cheap $1.99 per month plan, but i get a reliable service and all the free extras make this a lower cost in the long run.

Companies that charge less know what their service is worth," it"s worthless" and that is false economy, then you have a big problem moving it to another service anyway. I get 99.9% up time, 24/7 support, a free domain, and too many free addons to mention. They really over deliver.

Web Hosting Hub could hardly get all of their awards on the pageThey must have earned them.somehow. If you go below What i paid for the Hub you get less features.

You can go more expensive if you need to but should not go less.

To be honest, my recent dealings with web hosting hub have been minimal. Tge one time I did need tech support, my guy Nick W. came through with flying colors. I'm Tge first to bitch if something's not done well. But Nick performed perfectly by giving me a crash course in how to post on my blog, which had lay dormant for 18 months.

I was a little skeptical at first given the incredibly low cost of WebHostingHub - but my fears were unfounded. These guys provide almost unparalleled customer support with all of my requests being answer either immediately, or within a couple of hours. For example, when I wished to move from a PHP 5.2 server to one of their 5.3 - it cost me nothing (most hosts charge for this), and they did it within 4 hours! No downtime.

Aside from the brilliant customer support, my sites have never been down (or if they have, it's been completely unnoticeable - I have sites hosted where I would get my arse handed to me if they were ever down for any more than a few minutes).

Cost - again, hard to beat given the other factors.

Only thing I would recommend is checking the MySQL version if you need the latest; as I think they are a few releases behind (although this is most likely a cPanel support thing).

Other than that - great host.

The hosting plans for WebHostingHub are limited to shared hosting. Whilst their support pages provide advice regarding the pros and cons of VPS, cloud and dedicated hosting, the website doesn’t give any indication of any availability or pricing structure.

The pricing structure is simple and based on a sliding scale. If you purchase web hosting with WebHostingHub, the cost falls on longer contracts. The cheapest available agreement runs for three years.

The shared web hosting package provides a free domain name, a free website builder, unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth and allows you to have unlimited websites and email accounts.

There is an affiliate programme which customers can sign up to as well. It offers $100 for a successful referral along with a dedicated customer services contact and other benefits.

WebHostingHub Uptime/Downtime

WebHostingHub does not publish its uptime data on their website, and it does not provide any uptime guarantee. A support centre question indicated that in 2011, their servers maintained a 99.98% network uptime status. I couldn’t find any solid statement on the site to back this up.

The WebHostingHub servers are 100% factory-tested Dell servers that are located in two data centres, one on the east coast of America and one on the west coast. The data centres use Green Data Centre Technology. Unfortunately, they do not provide many other details regarding the security systems or network management.

Site backup features can be purchased for a small monthly fee.

WebHostingHub Support

The WebHostingHub support centre is available to all customers, so there’s no extra charge if you need help. The website provides several knowledge bases, forums and an education channel which provide numerous tutorials to get you up and running.

The customer support team is available through live chat, telephone help and an online help desk portal. The support team is available 24/7 and is US-based.

The WebHostingHub site also provides a useful community channel where individuals can browse questions, ask questions of their own and even answer queries from others. At the same time, WebHostingHub support staff monitor the channel and guarantee a response within 60 minutes, which is impressive.

The WebHostingHub Facebook page is active, but posts now appear to be rare. However, they do provide the occasional link to tools and information, useful for building websites. Their Twitter page is active and they appear to respond to customer queries promptly.

WebHostingHub in the News

WebHostingHub has not appeared in the media very frequently. However, ZDnet reported an issue regarding a considerable amount of spamming coming from the company early in 2012.

The company has been targeted by hackers in the past. In September 2011, a number of hosted sites were defaced. The team were able to restore the majority of affected sites within 12 hours, but the control panel was made unavailable for this time. The WebHostingHub control panel is Cpanel, which is pretty standard in the shared hosting industry. You can login from the main home page to administer your account. The Cpanel interface user-friendly, and whilst novices can quickly get to grips with its features, it provides a number of advanced tools to learn over time.

Sign up for WebHostingHub and you’ll receive a bonus $75 Google Adwords credit and a free domain name. You’ll get access to a free website builder and blogging software. Websites can be integrated with a variety of ecommerce tools, such as Cube Cart, a shared SSL certificate, Google Checkout and PayPal.

Wordpress, Nucleus and b2evolution blogging tools can be installed, and so can content management systems such as Joomla, Drupal and Geeklog. phpBB forums are available, as are a number of photo sharing tools. For those who are looking to transfer their existing domain name, WebHostingHub provides a free temporary URL to get your site working correctly before attempting to transfer.

WebHostingHub Money Back Guarantee / Cancellation Policy

WebHostingHub offers a generous 90-day refund/ guarantee policy. Not all fees are refundable, though. As you might expect, the purchase of SSL certificates, domain privacy and domain names will not be returned on cancellation of the agreement.

Anyone who cancels their agreement within 90 days will receive a full refund of any costs related to the hosting service specifically. If the customer received a free domain name, the cost will be deducted from the refund as will the costs associated to a dedicated IP. Cancelling an agreement is done via an electronic cancellation form, so it’s all quite straightforward.

WebHostingHub Summary

WebHostingHub are similar to a lot of other hosting companies out there. Many of the services they offer are competitive yet comparable to the rest of the industry. Their key selling points centre around the additional services that can be bought which make them ideal for individuals and small businesses to get a quality website up and running in a quick and efficient manner.
