We recently added an SSL certificate for our website. Sporadically we get an error that the certificate is not valid, – that it belongs to, which is not our site. I have contacted support countless times, was told that it was being caused by several different issues, and received follow up each time saying it was fixed.

This has been going on for a month. We still get the error.

May 26, 2017 is horrible! They sent an Icann notice to an inactive email address that I had on file. Then since I didn’t respond (since I never got the email), they shut down my DNS…

In other words, I lost email, website… everything!! I contacted their chat support and even sent them a picture of my passport to verify my identity at 3PM on a Thursday.

It is now 9:30 PM and they are still "working on it". My business is totally down. Would not recommend them to anyone. Beware!!!

Everything was fine… ’til it wasn’t. My VPS went down, and stayed down. It’s been 26 hours since I first reported it, and I have yet to hear from them what broke, how, why, what’s being done to fix it, nor how long it will take.

They’ve even hinted to me that the "department" it’s been escalated to may not work weekends. Last I checked, the WWW was a 24/7 operation. I am soooo out of here!

MyDomain sucks, I would not give them one star ! they failed to protect my website from viruses. Looking at different reviews here, the countdown has started for them to close soon.

It’s a matter of days I guess. I would not even think about buying their domain ""

I have been using them for almost 15 years. I am a very light user and only use the basics. I have never had to call support.

Until, a few days ago when I was informed by someone who was emailing an email at my domain that it was boucing back with a "permanent error." I had changed nothing in perhaps 6 months. I am not 48 hours into this issue. I have call 9 times, and commented on my ticket as many.

The last 24 hours, I have only asked for 1 thing: "Please have someone on this ticket provide and update." Each of the last chat/ or phone conversations ended with "We will have an update to you in a few hours." Every single person promising me that failed 100% to even update the ticket with "Still looking" In fact, I have no real evidence they are working on the problem. IN the mean time, emails are being lost. This is the worst customer support I have had.

I even requested they simply delete my account and recreate it. I said I would rather reconfigure everything than loose more emails. Again, I have no evidence that anyone has heard or considered this request.

Conclusion: Unless your web needs are hobby/non-critical, stay away from this place. For sure do not put any business critical work there!

They are beyond terrible. As the other commentators on this site have stated, mydomain are erratic, unstable and the level of customer service is shockingly poor. Anything which is simple with every other domain name registrar or webhost is made a painful process by mydomain.

For instance, changing your nameservers or moving domains to other registrars, which takes a matter of seconds to change the settings in the interfaces of other registrars, involves writing a dozen emails to mydomain. Incompetent and bureacratic. They’ve caused me so much misery. No wonder the web is full of negative reviews about them more than any other major domain name registrar I’ve seen.
